Viola Vitalis ready for take off

A good and inexpensive cure for arsenic poisoning has been developed. Manufacturing of proprietary nutraceutical medication has started and the first mobile arsenic poisoning clinic is working

Several types of water purification systems can remove arsenic from drinking water. Advanced treatment systems in rich communities are able to reduce arsenic contamination considerably, but there is yet no low cost solution.

There is arsenic poisoning in many countries, but Bangladesh suffers most. Most  marginalized people have no other choice than to keep on drinking poisoned water.

For these people, Viola Vitals has developed the world’s first medication for arsenic poisoning. A patient is cured in only a few weeks. Patients who continue to drink poisoned water need to repeat the cure.

During 2009, Viola Vitalis has started production and marketing of several products. The most important step in business, i.e. proof of market acceptance has been reached.

Arrangements have also been made to create the structure for complying with large orders and, if needed, for further finance.  A Business Plan has been prepared to attract investments from partners and donors in order to be able to expand activities speedily.

Contacts have been initiated with the Government in Bangladesh and various international aid agencies for the purpose of making treatment available also to patients who do not have means to buy the medicine or pay the doctors at the mobile clinics.

The Viola Vitalis project will create a model for the treatment of other medical conditions in Bangladesh and also a model for efficient and profitable health care in many other countries.

Viola Vitalis has also a product which is called Universal Antioxidant. This is marketed in the EU and US. Apart from creating much needed income, sales in these countries will also strengthen the brand name and reduce costs through mass production methods. This will ultimately benefit the marginalized people as well.

Also other medicines have been developed by Viola Vitalis. All based on the business concept to identify, refine, combine, and commercialize combinations of already well researched or GRAS ( Generally Regarded As Safe – by the US Food and Drug Agency – FDA) components, for the benefit of the marginalized people of the world.

The purpose of the Swedish Sustainability Foundation is to support the start of potentially valuable and sustainable project companies. Viola Vitalis is our first success and we are extremely proud of the accomplishment.

The real honour must of course be paid to Abdul Kader, the PhD from Karolinska Institute in Stockholm, Sweden, who opted for the difficult path of entrepreneurship instead of a given, safe and well-paid career in science.

We congratulate Dr Kader and wish him continued success.

With the limited resources and advice from Swedish Sustainability Foundation the first most arduous steps have been taken by Viola Vitalis. Now when there is both scientific evidence and market acceptance it should be an obvious task for the donors we have contacted to make sure that as many people as possible get access to the cure.

The Foundation will now devote its main effort to establishing our next project – polygeneration for sustainable energy and pure drinking water. The initial purpose is to remedy arsenic poisoning in Bangladesh, but as with Viola Vitalis, the project has additional valuable applications world wide.
